Before you go mad, This is not one of them stupid " Who Is Better Marines Or Paras ", Its just an observation, Is it just me or are the Paras more respected with civs then the marines? i think its to do with the fact the people know far less about the marines then they do about the paras,im not slaggin the paras here, as they are an elite force, but so are the marines, and i was just wondering if any body else has found this? or is it just it just my luck that the people i have met respect the paras more??

My personal opinion is it's the otherway round, just look at all the ongoing Afghan media coverage, Royal is getting far more exposure than Para Reg ever did on Herrick 6. This isn't a bad thing as it shows the excellent work they're doing out there, but very little was seen of what went on before that.
