Hello bennett_2006, I've also got a start date for my basic training at RAF Halton on the 18th April. I'm joining as a Chef.

Hey Chrisgrey, they're going ok yeah, ive religiously played rugby league for the last 6 or 7 years and we train 4 times a week so im fairly prepared for halton i think, but ill keep up the training till i get down there. How about yourself? Congrats on the start date, im sure ill see you down there at some point!

As for choice of RAF over Army, well i liked the idea that the role is more self inclusive in that you dont have to be in a solely devoted trade to work with dogs. And whilst the arrest rate in the RMP seems from what ive been in formed is a lot higher, im lead to believe this is because the RAF lads seem to be more self disciplined. Now that wasnt the major factor in my choice, but certainly a consideration.
What the smegging smeg's he smegging done!?....He's smeggin killed me...
