As has been said welcome to the club Whooley. I hope both mum and grandchild are fine and dandy.

Lovely thing about grandkids is that it's your chance to make your kids pull their hair out by encouraging your four year old Grandson that it would be a massive boost to his mum's attempt at making the house nicer if he painted the sittingroom wall a nice shade of pink using his Mummys lipstick!

So I have heard.......................Snee! Snee! Snee! :D :P 8)

Congrat's granddad, the best thing about grandchildren is that you can give them back when they get on your nerves

CONGRATULATIONS GRANDAD!!!!!!!!!! :laola:

Hope mum and baby are doing fine.

Here you go mate...the meaning behind the name

TRISTAN
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Welsh, English, French, Celtic Mythology

Pronounced: TRIS-tan (English), trees-TAWN (French)
From the Celtic name Drystan, which was probably derived from drest meaning "riot" or "tumult". It is sometimes associated with Latin tristis "sad", but this connection is doubtful. In Celtic legend Tristan was sent to Ireland in order to fetch Isolde, who was to be the bride of King Mark of Cornwall. Instead, Tristan and Isolde end up falling in love.

Kinnel Lozzer  tut
you reminds me of when I was bored shitless by Missus Aitch`s endless sugestions of Irish Boy Band members names for young Jack

Till oi sugested wee Fechan....... :-?

Meaning, "from a line of Oirish Princes" Hmm, she mused, Fechan, Fechan Hackedoff and the rest is er, pardon :-?

"Hi Dad, we`ve picked a name for the baby..........
