i wear my footie boots and run in parks, or if i run on roads i just wear astros
Before you insult someone, first walk a mile in their shoes, that way when u insult them you are a mile away and you have their shoes.

most common cause of shin splints is incorrent footwear, often people think buying a pair of "running shoes" will solve the problem, trouble is buying the right ones, they are all designed for different styles of running and different body types etc. The way to avoid this is to go into a decent shop that specialises in running products, they will look at your running movement, listen to what training your doing, the budget you have and suggest shoes accordingly. Looking at your location I see you're in Romford, the nearest store to you suitable is probably:

Runnersworld
2 Chadwell Heath Lane
Chadwell Heath
Romford, Essex RM6 4LZ

Tel: +44 (0)20 8590 0318
Email: info@runnersworld.ltd.uk
Opening Times:
Monday - Thursday 10am - 6pm
Friday10am - 7pm
Saturday 9:00am - 6pm
Sunday Closed

all the best mate hope new shoes fixes the problem.

Best way to avoid shin splints is to simply stop running  Worked for me:wink:
