'Flipper' Parker

Post by Alan Hardy »

I'd like to contact Flipper. As an old Squaddie from 865 we went to Singers together and had one or two memorable occasions so to speak.

An email from anyone knowing his whereabouts or Flipper would be great.

Alan

I met Flipper in 1992-93 when he came to do a SAR course with us at HM Coastguard Dover. At that time he was the security officer on the QE2 which is owned by Cunard. He was due to join the 'Oriana' when it commissioned after being built. I have no further info but you may be able to trace through Cunard Line.

Regards

Don't whatever you do let him drive when pissed. He couldn't manage his bug in '72/'73, and I don't see any reason why things should have improved over the years.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

The Oriana ,or Oribanana to its friends, belongs to P&O Cruises, which I think is now called Princess Cruises.

P&O's Head Office is in Southampton
