it hasn't a chance in h#ll of happening, but I think they, would think more if a goverment ministers son was in the front line, even more than Prince William being in there.

It nearly happened in Vietnam for the Americans, but daddy Bush and his mates got Georgy Boy out of that one,

We were working independantly, doing our own thing as per usual! Had varying roles, mainly route/area recces, securing certain key points etc. Plus defending the obvious (Musa Qaleh) for two months when it was supposed to be for 2 days!! Cheers 3 Para! :roll:

greenronnie, cheers for the info ,whats the make up of PF now? i was in when they reformed in 85? if my memory is right i think on the initial cadre there was a number of guards, dont think many passed,

Six patrols of six plus a HQ (boss, WO, Pl Sgt, sigs det, VM). We do get occasional Guardsmen coming, got one from the Guards Para (3 Para) at the min.
