Introduction

Post by vambo777 »

Hi,
I’m new to this site and I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Steve, I’m Ex 1RRF I served 10 years 1980 – 1990 Three years Germany, seven years Northern Ireland. Most of my time in Northern Ireland was spent as an Arms Explosives Search Dog Handler. I have had a good look around the forum and I have found it to be the best military forum on the net (my opinion) I look forward to getting involved in discussions and meeting some interesting people.
A wee question for the administrator, I tried to add an avatar, correct size and format, however it would not take, I just got a brief message on my screen, part of which read:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./images/avatars/2045460772450c00cb3f107.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/milforum/public_html/forums/includes/usercp_avatar.php on line 287

Help if you can,
Talk soon,
Steve

Hi Vambo777, welcome to the site, I am new here myself but I have been reading it on and off for a couple of years. You are right it is one of the better sites around, and just to let you know I am having the same problem as you when it comes to uploading a avatar
