Hi
Im new here and have a few questions. Can anyone give me further infomation on the ALS. Im a trainee solicitor and would like to know more about the ALS role. Has anyone been there and done that? I have read the advert but I do have a few more specific question. Onces that can be answered without the bias of a recruiter.

Don't know much about Army Legal Aid - (I think they used to be called that) - apart from the fact that they never gave me any.

Hi there,
The ALS is part of The Adjutants General Corps now, amalgamated back in 1992. Qualified solicitors or barristers with strong academic credentials can join as a commissioned officer. You do a shortened version of the commissioning course, jokingly known as the "tarts and vicars" course, sorry, not my words. If there's anything else I can help with, just let me know.
