age limit

hi, in the army have you got to be at least 18 before you go on the frontline because i think i read something like that somewhere but i forgot where, and if this is the case what do soldiers in the inantry do if they are under 18. thanks.

You would probably be on rear guard, or some REMF job at the FMB/FOB.

UK or anywhere. is that the age limit for soldiers on the frontline? would they just go on ex where they are based or would they go to the country there regiment is fighting in but not actually go on the frontline?

REMF =not a GRAV= Rear Echelon Mother Fugger
FOB= Forward Operating Base, not in contact.
