I got my green lid

Post by wato212 »

After 8 hard months I did it, passed out with 903/902 troop on friday, best day of my life. The best was the arms drill, mainly cause I didn't f@#k up. Unlike 4 hours before on our last practice. :D Anyway carn't wait to get to 42 commando on monday.

I hope lads who read this will take somethink away from it. Royal marines recruit training is the hardest in the world, but it is capable if you want it. I remember reading messages like these, and thinking what would I give to be in his shoes :) 8 months goes alot quicker then it seems, so to the lads still in training, or waiting to start, or have there PRMC coming up, best of luck and remember it is possible.

Wato.

Congratulations Wato!

I passed-out King's Squad 50 years ago on the 8th June 1956, and the memory of that day is still as strong as ever.

Best of luck in 42 Cdo Royal; welcome to the family.
