Regiment exercises
Regiment exercises
i was wondering every ones saying that the reg are training or on exercises, but what kind of exercises are they i know the reg is mainly a defenive force so how dose it tie in with exercises?

Hey mate,
If "the same training as the Army infantry" means tabbing around some of the coldest, wettest/hottest, dryest parts of the world with a house on your back, throwing said house down to perform a platoon assault before digging a nice big hole to stag on in, then yes, we do the same sort of training/exercises. Your'e sort of right with your description of the RAF Regiment being a mainly defensive force, but it is based on the theory of the best form of defence being attack.
