Reserve Forces.Com

Post by Boxingmad »

Some f@#k Turk (he/she stated their nationality) has defaced the Reserve Forces website www.reserveforces.com and completely ruined it. Does anyone have any idea when it'll be up and running again?

Unfortunately reserverveforces.com (RFUK) is no more, the last spat of hacking proved to expensive to remedy, so on behalf of the rest of the mods and members I'd like to thank Matt (cannon-fodder) for all the hard work and cash that he put into the site ; we had a good crack , some valuable tips were passed on and hopefully we encouraged a few more people to take the plunge and join up.

As to the to-sser who hacked the site, he's of the turkish persuasion, and appears to make a habit of knocking out forums , lets hope he gets bird flu and dies a slow painful death.

I'm hoping all the former members are already signed up to militaryforums, and we can use this site to keep ourselves up too speed.

You might want to tell Cannon Fodder that he has put .com on the front of reserve forces instead of .co.uk he is pointing people to an American site, NOT here
Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...

Hmm, does that mean it could still be resurrected under the co.uk banner? it always surprised me that it was .com in the first place, being a UK site etc.

If it doesn't, i'd just like to pass on my thanks as well. A very good site indeed, and it has proved very useful to me in terms of knowledge base etc. it can still be accessed though, so I shall continue to source it for info.

Aye, Its been a while since i've posted, but I've kept me eye on the posts, just in case there was anything that tickled me fancy like.

Its a shame about RFUK, but thats life I guess; this Mehmet tw@t has been knackering forums globally, so I dont thinks its an anti brit thing.

Most of the former RFUK members already lurk on MF so don't worry there are a few weekend warriors keeping tabs on all you arabs.

regards

bLOd

ps quite touched that anyone remembers me, (sniff, get a grip you ponce!)

I'm guessing only matt can access the archive of whats left of RFUK and maybe pull an IP address, but if you google "Mehmet hacker" you get quite a few hits for various other sites globally that have been stung by the fat greasy tw@t, hopes that helps. :-?

Cheers for the offer jay, when the need comes, I , and all the other weekender's won't be to shy to ask for somehelp !

ps I'm not a bl00dy part time soldier!!, i'm a part timer of the sideways scuttling variety!!
