A 21 year old Marine died when he fell 300 feet down the east side of the Ring of Steall in Glen Nevis.

Like Si Capon I came off as well only I did it on the Cuillins, Skye 1987

Sorry to hear this, a tragedy indeed. RIP Royal.

Last time I did the Ring of Steall we had to turn back after one of my mates fell & nearly died. It's easily done.
