Families day Tg 03/05

Hi all. Currently on stand down from TG 03/05 for 2 weeks. Don't know the reason why. Does anyone know what takes place on families day as i have this coming up just under 3 weeks after returning from leave? Also is anyone who uses this forum due to start on the next tg course? Also we have the NBC training the week we go back. Does anyone who has done this know what it entails. Regards

Families Day your family and whoever else come down and watch you run around the assault course and then do a little drill display and get your recruit phase certificate. Your family will get to see around some of the gear JCBRN and the GBAD Sqns use. You'll get to wear your 95s too.

NBC week. you will learn all the effects of the chemical agents, biological agents and nuclear agents have on your body, you'll learn how to wear your IPE correctly and safely, you'll learn what it is like to be exposed to an incapacitant (CS GAS) and you'll learn your decontamination drills and practice them in the chamber too.

You'll also see how nice your DS really are.
