Makes you think doesn't it ?

Norway has two representatives in the UN -

Karin Sham Poo og Jan Egeland. Jan Egeland has done a lot of good
since his appointment - despite the lack of funding received....

Lots of countries promise their support but few deliver - until Jan
makes everything common knowledge and almost has to blackmail
them into forking out. This has worked.

The United Nations is at risk of becoming a trash can with regard to
peacekeeping forces. The richer countries of Europe would rather have
their forces serve with NATO.

Karin Sham Poo is from Unicef and deals with the fate of children in
armed conflicts.

It makes you think ok. I agree that the UN needs to be reformed.

It could be argued that the African position has been brought about as a result of the greed of westerners. High interest loans to yield big returns to investors.

It's also a warning not to be taken in by high yield investments. There's a big risk involved.
