I accept there'll always be two schools of thought on the 'arm the police' argument but I'd rather they had the chance to use lethal force, especially if it were to:

a. Protect the public.
b. Protect themselves.
c. Get rid of a few raghead (or other) terrorists.

If Glock's aren't the thing then give them something more suitable. The RUC had Ruger .357's (after the Walther's proved to be shite). I think that weapon proved itself to be a useful police sidearm. (apart from when the odd copper decided to do away with himself).

Well the news was recieved alright, but I haven't talked much to anyone today. I'll let you know. But strangely and this may just be my government, but they aired pictures of 9/11, your bombings and attempted bombings during the vote on the Patriot Act extensions in the Capitol yeasterday.
