John Hodkinson joined the Royal Marines 11/45 and served in the
liberation of South Asia through until 9/48.John left Manchester
England and settled in Orbost Victoria Australia after his
release from the Marines.He worked as a boiler attendant before
moving to Frankston with his family.John is survived by his wife
Edna and his children
Steven,Lorraine,Janet,John,Robert,Craig,Scott,Alison many
grandchildren and great grandchildren.John rarely talked of his
time served but was proud of his contribution and fondly showed
pictures of the places and mates he served with.A gentle and
caring man John will be sadly missed by all..
