My line manager her hubby was RMR Merseyside a Cpl Smith. Don't know when he was there but I will ask, he's about 50ish at the moment

This year was the 60th aniversery of the Service Stewards.
They get 65 sods per day for doing it , plus £10 per day for food, they only do Centre and No:1 court. Start time is 0945 for briefing and finish when ther court ends. sometimes 2200 ish
They have to take two weeks of their leave to do this ...
