Who said anything about SF? But yes I imagine they would be looking at at least 10 miles in an hour to stand a chance.

I heard that for PRMC you need 3 miles in 21 or so minutes so I suppose that would not be too hard, even factoring in a few hills + fatigued state.

I don't even know if I want to ...

Running 10 miles in one hour

Can anyone here run 10 miles in one hour?

I have decided to make this my goal.
Right now I can run 5 miles in 30 minutes and slightly over 9 miles in one hour.

Anyone got any idea how long this might take/ how achievable it is. Could most trained Marines manage this?

Right now I do a 5 mile run ...

Good choice. Much better to get some decent grades now, not only so you can join the Marines as an officer but also so you will have them on your CV for any future civvie job. What's 6 months in your life anyway?

If no countries troops will be sent in then I don't think ELPs idea of the UN sending in mercenarys is a bad one.
