University of Iowa, I am actually out there mainly thanks to a swimming scholarship so I'm getting drilled from that 24/7, the 'keggers' usually have to wait for the weekends! :roll:

I have considered the officer route and I am still thinking about which i would go for. Just considering ...

Hi to all,

Making myself known to the forums. Plymouth born interested in the Royal Marines. Currently dragging myself slowly through the experience of the Yank university system.

Just bought Ultimate Weapon actually so glad its good.

Not on to it yet though, still going through 3 Para by Patrick Bishop right now. Also a damn good read so far.

Regarding the NHS, honestly for all it's faults and the complaints i respect it more after being in America for a while. I had a problem with my lung over Christmas and a few check ups and one xray certainly built up a decent sum.

I know the NHS is far from perfect, but i'm still damn glad it's free.

Right, so I have a question regarding officer entry. I did my A/S level year but then i was offered a swimming scholarship to Iowa University. I missed my A2 year and am now studying for a degree.
