The only antidote we had was a radio and if you could contact the other end a helicpter would be sent.
This was in Belize.
But like most creepy crawlies they are well gone before you get there. In 6 months I only saw 2 snakes. The most venomous in Belize was a viper by the name of "Fer-de-Lance"

A few years ago someone set a record with a .50BMG rifle.
Sub 1 inch group at 1000 yards or meters I think.
Its not as impressive as it sounds as it was off hand shooting, ie rifle clamped into position and only finger touching trigger.

Dont worry by the time you do your 30 miler youll be fit enough.
If not the training team havnt done their job, or you dont want a green beret

The RM cam and con test is you have to stalk a distance (cant remember but several 100m) upto a pointfacing an instructor.
There is a time limit.
You then have to fire 1 shot and after a period of time (I think 2min) fire
a second shot.
If you are still not seen you pass :lol:
