Exactly, I know once I'm in I'll never want to leave, plus there aren't really any jobs on civvy street that I want to do.

Could you transfer to the army? to move up the ranks higher than Major General.timex wrote:ISTR that the maximium age for any Officer to retire is 55 so thats when you'd need to leave. Very few stay that long, and you need to be in a required Role.

First of all it was never offered you had to apply then pass the P Course, and you have to do the same course as the men and you will wind up in the ring with one of them knocking seven bells out of you.

Paras after sandhurst?
What percentage of your intake at sandhurst do you have to be to get offered a commission in the Paras? and is there anyway to increase your chances of an offer?
