Re: dog handler or soldier or both ??

My recruiter told me that the Dog Handler job was massively oversubscribed and that now they only want people with experience. Not sure if this is true or not.

The instructors aren't too interested in the content, they're just interested in the way you present yourself. If they can ...

Critique my Icebreaker please

Can anyone give me some help/advice/review on my icebreaker? I followed the guidelines from the AFCO but for some reason I think it's not right. :-?

Thanks

Re: RMP fitness

I have no idea mate sorry. And don't worry, not all of us here are arse biters.. ;)
Keep your sexual preferences to yourself.

As for PSS(R), that's Physical Selection Standard (Recruit). No idea what the other random letters mean but as you have to do a static lift, jerry can carry, press-ups and ...

RMP fitness

I've put this down as my first choice. Anyone know the run time and other fitness info?

Before anyone bites my arse, let me just say I did search but I've gotten mixed results. Some say 10:30, the army website says 14:00 but the career breif the Careers office gave me says this:

PSS(R) STANDARDS ...

Re: Advice needed, not sure what army job to go for

Thanks for the input

Firstly, I'm not doing A-levels, I left school in August and went into work (long story, don't ask)

Secondly, I'm obviously not going to base my future on what jobs people online suggest, I was jut after some advice that I would take with advice from the careers office and my ...

Re: Advice needed, not sure what army job to go for

Timex - I prefer the army to joining the RAF or Navy. Not that I haven't researched them, mind. Just don't think their "me" if that makes sense.

Hyperlithe - The run time is usually between 12 and 14 minutesfr 1.5 Miles.

Re: Advice needed, not sure what army job to go for

Paper still needs to be shuffled from one pile to another whether it's in Bulford or Bastion. The boys get even more worried about pay & allowances when they're in 'hotspots' like Afghanistan, as there may be families back home struggling to pay the bills. So yeah, there are still a fair amount of ...

Re: Some genuine advice needed

Put it like this, you're 80 years old and sat by the fireplace, thinking about your life. Would you be prouder having served in the army or having increased quaterly profits by 0.2%?

That's how I view it whenever doubt crosses my mind (which isn't often)
