Sounds pretty legit to me, you do 2 days in the army seclection programme. Its basicly just to see if your 'soldier' material before you enter basic training (costing money, time & effort).

On another note, why not just give it a go! You have an option to leave anyway (30 days into BT i think). If you like it hey it go for it, if not you've not lost anything and you can go do uni or whatever! You don't wanna be thinking in time to come 'What if' etc.

I was never interestered in the army in my younger years untill i finished college and realised how shite office work and computing environments reeally were, after that i was always fully 100% committed to joining up.
