Im off to Bassingbourne next sunday (21st) to start basic! anyone else going to be there?

Dont even consider walking during the 1.5 mile run. Like the above said. YOU will FAIL. I ran a 9.29.. But i am aiming for a 9< i sort of know what to expect at phase 1 now, so i am starting to up my game big time.

Aching like hell now though.. but thats because i didnt train hard enough at home.

So if anyone who hasnt been to selection yet reads this.. You really do need to push yourself HARD or else you will struggle.

Im trying to join as a carpenter, i've been told by my warrant officer, they are recruiting some more in April. But you do need to pass selection with a decent score otherwise you can enjoy a lengthy wait.
