Hi folks,
It's been a LONG while and a certain amount of uncertainty since I posted here, but I'm back now and I'm already part way through application as a RAF Regiment Gunner :D
I've had a look arond and i can't really get a clear answer to this question, but I'm sure somebody here knows ...

I think you might find that ON Entry you had to have 20/20 vision unaided, however once you commenced Flying training you could, if your eyesight changed be fitted for glasses.
Not sure about Laser eye surgery, but as far as I know its still not been established what the long term affects will be ...

I really don`t know yet till i get a report and send it back. It was the general list of things that if you have you cant get into the armed services but next to laser surgery it says in the previous 12 months.
It might be the case that if you have had it you cant get into aircrew but you could go ...

From what you have said the Nurse should not have carried out the hearing test in those conditions, did you mention this to the MO at the time? It may be worthwhile having a chat with the practise manager about it and even if your test cannot be re-taken then at least it may stop some others going ...

Been along time since ive commented on here so thought id keep you up to date!
At present im "Temporarily Unift" as my hearing test had a slight problem!
The nurse at the Med Centre said to me "i should warn you there may be lorries going by the window etc." fair enough i thought. turns out there ...
