If it's the one that I'm thinking of, it was on channel 4 a few months ago, around April timeish I think. So it might be hanging around the internet somewhere.
As Fairy_Dust said, it's quite an eye opener and can be pretty horrific in some places.

P.s: By the way not a good start, you've spellt 'psychometric' wrong. Might want to look at some GCSE English books.

But spelling spelt wrong is fine.

I found the best way to improve my mental arithmetic was to add things I see up in my head. i.e. If I was walking past a shop window and I ...

Hi Supercooper, first things first have a look around the site at the other forums, there's plenty of information for you. AJ's guide to fat loss and muscle building is a good start, http://www.mfat.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14159 , or have a look at this one for a basic idea of a schedule http ...

To be honest I think that you'll only find that it's a hindrance if you let it be. I have a degree myself, and I can't see it being a problem. I wouldn't have said that I was a "typical" bootneck, when I went to the AFCO, the person on reception said that I was to well spoken to be in the Marines ...

Re: Being able to take a life

Thanks for the replies, they've helped ease my mind a bit. You've confirmed what I initially thought, that the training would take over.

Think about the lives you save; not the lives you take.
That's basically one of my motivations for joining anyway, as long as I keep that in mind then I should ...

Being able to take a life

I hope this doesn't sound too callous, but has anyone had second thoughts about being able to kill?

I'm training for my prmc at the moment, and for the most part its coming on well, but I keep thinking about if I would be able to kill someone. Generally I think "Yeah, I can do that", but every so ...

Sorry Harry, no offence intended.

Just thought that I'd put it up for anyone who was interested.

...with back up crew, make-up artist etc

You mean marines don't get any of that to take with them? Who's going to carry all of my heavy equipment, and run a nice warm bath for me in the ...

It's on the 10:30 news, but they are also showing clips on the website.

Perhaps he could dictate to you, if his typing skills aren't so good.

ITV's Flaklands Yomp

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet, but one of ITV's news reporters is yomping across the Falklands in memory of the boys who did it the first time around. From the snippets that I've seen it looks quite interesting.

Anyone who did it the first time care to comment on how it was the first time ...

If I saw a child bimbling around in the kids size RM shirt and he hadn't passed the Childrens Commando Course I'd KO him.

You obviously haven't seen the kids at my school, I swear some of the 9 year old girls would punch me in the face/balls (depending on how high they can reach) as soon as say ...

Pre Para Course

Hi, I know that I've seen the answer to this question somewhere before (at least I think I have, maybe I just dreamt it..). Anyway I was wondering if the Paras have a pre Para course, not P Company, but something before that in preparation. I know that the RE have a Pre All-Arms Command course run ...

Am I to old?

Hi. I applied to join the army last year, but was rejected due to a perforated ear drum, now hopefully that will all be sorted out through an operation very soon, and there won't be any further problems on that front (touch wood). My main concern though is that I might be too old, or at least feel ...
