My bold: Real McCoy would be right, but the real P Coy? Not even close, it was just the 10 miler.

Congratulations though, you did well and your blog was pretty good too.
Thanks for your congrats.

It was just too good an opportunity to miss - Real McCoy - Real P Coy - it kinda rhymes you know ...

Your review really reminded me of the day. Nice one!
Glad you liked it.

There were definitely P Coy Challenge runners with trainers as I was pipped to the post by one of them and the photos of my finish prove it! There was no checking at the start or finish - I'm not really that miffed about it ...

I tabbed the new paras10 route yesterday and it is an absolute beast.

Do tell more - with only 9 days to go I'm all ears. I was a bit worried when I saw the newish route map @ http://www.paras10.com/files/routemap.pdf where it mentions 5 hills and "waist height water" :-(

Are you still on for ...

Anyone signed up for this years Para 10? I've trained up to a couple of 10 milers with 35lb bergan and managed times of between 1:36 and 1:45. I've been using www.gmap-pedometer.com to map my training efforts and until today I thought I was doing the required hills as well but I've just discovered ...

When did you do this? What other stuff do you need to do to make it as a para (not that I intend doing anymore than the P Coy Challenge ;->)

Cheers for the reply.

Excuse my ignorance but what's "leuko tape" and where can I get it  ?

Final one, do you know if the miles are marked?

Bumping this back up.

Is anyone else doing it this year?
Hey Beanpole, I'm signed up to the P Coy Challenge.

How's your training going? Ordinarily, I'm a long distance runner but I'm recovering from a 8 month knee injury, culminating in an op last October so I'm not really at the top of my game ...
