Does anyone recognise this man?

I came across this photo & was suspicious: if anyone can allay my doubts, please do.

He is wearing C95s with a 1PARA DZ, yet no wings(?), para belt & is wearing the rank slide of a Major... & is that an EARRING?
His name is Paul Walmesley- does anyone know him, or of him, or is he another Walter?

There march is not to prove that soldiers are doing wrong...

Thats EXACTLY they are trying to do- look at the way they have described us: 'held not in memory of the occupying and merciless British military, but rather the real war dead'.
Whilst any civilian death in any war zone (indeed any war ...

I attended the Cenotaph in Christchurch Park, Ipswich, on Remembrance Sunday.
A march through the town by 4Regt.AAC (bayonets fixed & led by the Boys' Brigade band), RBL, Cadets & St.John volunteers preceeded the Service at Christchurch Park.
Local Dignitaries & officials attended & laid wreaths ...

Yeah it's not fun, but it's worth it if you pass. Organ Donor, where did you get that info from? Most of it is surprisingly accurate.

I should have put an acknowledgement to the 'Pegasus Journal' for most of the info on Selection... from about 200, I think...?

I'm wondering if Para Reservists ...

The Pathfinder Platoon, the advance force for 16 Air Assault Brigade, has an established strength of 40. The Bde Comd would like to expand this, however- the Pl is currently under strength.
In the past, recruiting was purely from within the Parachute Regiment- or at least, from within Airborne ...
