I've just done Topoint rememberance parade in my No.1s it felt amazing. Only 5 days till i pass out, im so excited.

I've just joined the Royal Navy and im loving it. Just about to start week 4 and I cant wait to pass out.

The only bad thing is that I cant see my kids until after i finish my training.

I would recommend RN to anyone, its a secure career, you get a pension and you see the world.

Reading the navy site, and you do the initial fitness test in the first week, buit you do the shorter timed run in week 5

had a while away from the forum, my intake is sept 16th, i was supposed to have my aquaint on july 2nd but work wouldnt let me have it off then they sack me for being signed off sick. :evil:
My fitness is lacking as ive had a gym rest since my pjft in march :(

the "interesting ship" is a 1/10th scale trimaran for testing. I watched a short doc' about it and even though its 1/10th scale its longer than a destroyer

I also carry a biro, and can do more damage with that. :lol: The knife is for opening packages etc. its kept in the small hip pocket on my jeans so itd take to long to get it out if being attacked.
