My point of view on it, is yes. the first 6 weeks is probably the hardest not physically but mentally as the discipline is driven into you the most in theses weeks, involving a lot of drill on the square ready for the week 6 passoff. so quite a few especially younger PTEs think about leaving. the longest run we have done is only 4 miles and the longest weighted march weve done is 5 miles. the most you will do there is a 8 mile weighted march.

If you are going Para Reg it is a lot different too that, infact it will be at least double :wink:

If your not on EX, then prity much everynight and weekend you can use your phone. however the signal for phones is very very bad at ITC.

I personally would have done more on my upper body thats my weakness. running ive always been good at. upper body strength is what its all about

All your fitness levels sound prity good for your initial tests at ITC, you dont do press ups or sit ups at selection. and seven heaves is good for selection a lot of people that were there when I was only managed 2 or 3 and got in still. for selection just keep working on your run time, as you ...

Hey guys,
just on my 2 weeks leave from catterick. had a really good time so far, mentally and physically demanding but really good.

Just done my Oath again for the second time in my life.
Bit different this time though, last time it was just me and an officer, this time about 10 other lads were there too.
and i was the only Agnostic one there so they all did there Oath together while i got to stand up on my own and do mine lol ...
