Firepower, im guessing you'd be on the same intake as me and adam, the 22nd of Feb. it would make more sence if you was any way, you should enjoy you're self there, get friendly with people as soon as you get there it helps.

hey, thanks for the replies

unfortunetly my recruiter can't fit me in ADSC untill 1st Jan, I was quite looking forward to it .. but no rush! :D

If I pass ADSC i'll be joining queens infantry with the Anglians. and will start training at Catterick early Feb. :wink:

I just passed my ADSC mate and the most important thing is team tasks. The trip from grimsby is quite a long one, Grimsby - Sheffield - Tamworth - Lichfield took about 4 hours 30mins on way there and 6hours on way back. You do alot of waiting with the medical. pullups

hi all, i go to adsc soon and my preparing has been awesome

but i'm struggling alot with my pullups/heaves even after practise

if i give it 100% i could probably do 5

im not fat but i do weigh alot (14 stone) at 6ft5

will this effect me in anyway ? are pullups a MUST in adsc?

It's best effort hun. It's for the heaves, static lift and another type of lift. AFCO should have a DVD for you to watch before you go up and we were also given a booklet with what we would need to take with us and the itinerary for the two days
