Thanks for the help lads. I talked to an online army recruiter and was told that since i'm british I don't have a problem. I know the army isn't the Marines but it's some information that can atleast put my mind at rest a little, and i'm sure they operate along simlar guidlines in these ...

No I don't have a green card or US citizenship, just a visa. I live in Florida, about 20 minutes outside Orlando. I was considering joining the USMC when I graduated 4 years ago but i'd rather put the work in and serve where I was born.
