It seems that things were better during the Cold War.

This was when every country that could, had nuclear missiles aimed at each otherall the time. They were busy ensuring that they each had the most upto date defense systems against any form of attack.To bother with anyone else.

This chap was shot two or three times in the face one arm was almost severed ,it appeared to have been held in protective position in front of his face.

It is generally agreed that the whole Iraq experience (still going on),is a complete cock up. Time for the coalition to move out.Whatever the cost, will never equal what has been wasted in lives alone up to now.

Treatment of our loyal troops!

I have just watched news report describing the disgraceful treatment of troops who have been wounded in one way or another while serving in the recent Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some have even ended up waiting in A&E for ongoing treatment.

Unbelievable.What do you think?
