I'm off to CTCRM on monday to start my 32 wk long journey to hell. Just want to say thanks to everyone for all the invaluable info posted here. I've been with holding troop for a couple of months now and to be honest, it's the best thing to do. You go through a lot of phys sessions and it gives you a good idea of what to expect when you start RT. we've even had a couple of lectures on life in the marines. Have you guys considered RMR Holding troop? The RMR base is in Bermondsey, just down the road from you guys. Maybe you should make it there one wednesday night. You'll go through a typical phys session with a PTI, and that would give you a very good idea what to expect during RTand how much work you ...

same here. I bought a package of chin up, sit up and push up bars from argos for 20 quid. The chin up bar goes between your door frame and sit up bar goes underneath the door. Very good stuff but the push up bar is absolutely useless. I use my palms and sometimes do closed fist push ups.
