Chears Greenronnie and Doc thats alot of help unlike the first two. Im not thinking of joining just on the skiing its just i spend most seasons skiing at the moment and want to carry it on, but i know i wouldnt be doing it all the time. thanks though.

Dose any one know if you can ski with or for the RAF? if so do they do alot of competitions.

im also thinking about the regt, but im planning to go in as an officer, you said just then that you can do sniper courses and such. can you still do these sorts of things when you are an officer, i really am aiming to get into 2 squadron as well.

both rly, i every one just says that there on exersices, so with the infantry they run around the woods and that, what do the reg do? or do they train the same as the army infantry?

i am at the same stage as you mate but i want to go in just after christmas for personal reasons, the bloke at the careers office said for me to apply about june july if i wanted to go the then, so i take it takes about 6 months

i was wondering every ones saying that the reg are training or on exercises, but what kind of exercises are they i know the reg is mainly a defenive force so how dose it tie in with exercises?
