Hello to everyone on the forum. I am currently serving in the Int Corp and i am conisdering transfering to the Para regiment, as a crow. Just wondering if anyone could give me a head ups on going about this?

To Swansea Dan. Some tips for Int selection are to read up on your current affairs, practice writting essays and just be yourself and honest. Also Practice doing your icebreaker as you will have to do this at RSC and Int selection.

Interviews generaly take the form off asking about your history ...

:D I would just like to thank everybody who provided help on this site as it has helped me greatly in passing my selection test. I start basic on/around the 15th May at Winchester (for Int corp) and cant wait. The only down side now is i have to carry on doing a sh@t job for 2 months.

Welcome mate! this site has been of great help for me and i know it will be for you. Look at everything before making your decision though.

Try looking at Ammunition Technition, RMP, Special Operator (Royal Sigs) or Army Intelligence Corps. Once you finish training you start off as a Lance - Corporal for all of the above.

Just a few questions for anyone who might be able to answer them?
Can you do P Company in the Int Corps?
What are the Int Corps Lads/lasses like? (from anyone who has worked with them)

The idea of a dedicated Parachute Regiment advert is an excellent idea! As although part of the Infantry; they very much have their own identity and require lads who give it their all.

If the Int Corp and other Army Corps can advertise as individuals, why can't the Paras?

I did my RSC at Pirbright on the 11th/12th jan. If you give 100% in all the tasks you will do good. I dont know how many Heaves/pull ups are required for the QA's, but some lads! on my selection did not get beyond 2 and they where going for infantry and the teeth arms and they still passed.
