Well I do remember meeting a Para in 2 para who was Australian,
He did say that it was a longer process due to how far away he was, but itwas well worth joining the British forces.
I would ring an AFCO up, possibly London to say it maybe the best place you can get to through the process ...

Length of Run
I do believe that the right diet will make that not happen. I find www.royal-marines.mod.uk good for any info on exercise and diets, they will tell you what is best to do, and when, both before and after exercise.
Plus they do have videos to watch on warm ups as well, all a good bonus!..

AFC PARA
Yeah mate it was 1.5miles (2.4km) within 9.30 mins and I really would push 9 mins if I was you, to show the potential, get 12 pull-ups done too. I did it so it shouldn't be a problem... I am talking straight arms to chin over the bar not poxy pull-ups.... and my advice is 50 sit ups a day just to ...

I've not noticed anybody wanting to be part of the newly-formed
SRR and SFSG.. They seem quite interesting on the roles they play
in UK defence, think with the Para reg it's a good standing chance with fitness levels and if you were part of the Pathfinders you would be part of the spec forces, G ...

I went in 2004, it's not bad but adult training especially paras won't be an easy ride either way, that.s the whole point... to pin point the determined to the not so determined.
I left I admit but wish I never did now as all my mates I went in with are all fully trained up and now serving within ...

In other words then go for one or the other because you will only have to come out to go into another service, no point in transferring from RN to RM as you will just have to go through training again

transfer
For a good guess you want to not go through RM training, I'm pretty sure the only way you can do anything like that is to go RN and then come out after service with the RN and then go for RM, if you have the grades to be able to go in as officer in the RN straight out then you will not have to build ...

AFC
Hello everybody,
Yeah I went to AFC but was only there for 12 weeks, but I could say it soon gives you a good idea... the rest of the recruits by the way are all capable of getting in with good enough reasons to join, physically fit and medically fit.
So in a sense you are all the same and it's the ...
