Hi. I was made PMU (Permanently Medically Unfit) whilst joining the RAF in November 2008. Would this make me unable to apply for the TA now?

Because to be honest I have no questions to ask, I'm happy with everything already and any questions I did have were answered on ...

Personally, I'd save money up before going in if you can, or at least be debt free, it is hard for some people starting off on the basic salary, although you may not think so.

How do you get paid during basic training? Is it the same as in the Army? where they give you a sum as cash in hand for the first few weeks? And is it monthly or weekly?
