I agree with Lillelj, I did the run back in 9.17, I was dissapointed with this and I came in 25th, but easily made the cut. I found the PRMC alot easier than I had read it was going to be, not saying it was easy, but the determination test only lasted 20 mins so as long as you are determined enough ...

Hey, my 3 mile PB is 20.59, I have an aquiant day on Wednesday 16th January, I can't wait. I find I run faster when running with/against someone else.

Thankyou for the advice, I will take it on board and start trying even harder. My aquaint day is next wednesday so I will have a chance to find out if I am ready or not for the PRMC. Thanks again.

O, so I'm pretty slow seen as my best 3 miler is 20.58. :(
I was confident about my fitness, now I'm worried. I run 3 miles every monday and saturday and run 5 miles on a thursday. I also do a circuit every day except wednesday and sunday. Is this too little? Any advise would be appreciated ...

wow ramz56, i dont know about anyone else but 3 miles in 16.54 is almost unbelieveable! i'm impressed. i'm 17, never been a particularly strong runner, an i can only do it in just under 21 mins. averaging 5.37 minutes per mile is incredable.

Hey. I have started running at 0630 before work and have introduced sprinting roughly 250m twice on my 3 milers and 4 times on my 5 milers. the idea being to knacker myself out and develop the mental strength to just keep going. It seems to be getting easier and my times are dropping.
