As for the tests, my careers office gave me some example tests which I've worked through to get a good idea of what to expect...

Hey,

I'm 6ft 4 and have had the initial interview and had no problems, I'm sure you'll be fine! My younger brother is 6ft 5'' and he's just passed out of basic training for the RE.
My next younger brother is 6ft 6'' and applied to be a pilot in the RAF but they turned him down because he's too tall ...

So, an update on my progress...

I've got my first interview in a couple of days which I'm looking forward to, seems to have been ages since I arranged it! I've been training regularly for the last few weeks now, my routine is as follows:

sun - 1hr competitive 5-a-side footy
mon - strength circuit ...

Hey Sarastro, thanks for the informative reply! its interesting you suggest under 10 mins for the 1.5 mile as i remember my brother saying something about 13 mins to pass the selection for the Royal Engineers, must be harder for officers?
