From what I've heard the process of gaining a commission with the Royal Gurkha Rifles is the same as any regiment. Gaining sponsorship for AOSB might be difficult but I know of at least one guy who managed it. Like any other regiment most of the selection process will hinge on performance at RMAS ...

Hoping to join the PWRR (my local regiment). I'd say I'm set on the Army now but I don't regret looking at the Royal Marines and would advise anyone with similar aspirations to do the same.
