Jarhead, not sure if that comment was aimed at me because of the times I posted, these were done in local road races, the proof is in the times that are also posted on the running clubs websites!. The only way to get quicker is get out there and run!, Join a running club as well!.

It's not to bad, like to get a lot quicker in time for next year, I also had a 5 mile time last month of 27.30, and a poor 10 mile time of 58.38. My advice to anyone who wants to run a little quicker, join a running club, and for the PRMC 3mile, you will have to start training over 3 miles so you ca...

I havent ran just 3 miles for some time, but done just over with a 5k which is 3.1 miles a few weeks back in 16.36, should be able to get under 16 for 3 miles though!.

Its in the Sunday Times Magazine, I know what you mean about there being so much rubbish in the paper. Well worth a dig around the bins to find it!, you may be lucky and find a bit of old pizza somewhere in there as well!

Did anyone else read the write up in todays Sunday Times regarding this?, it was a good read, also saying about the time Chris Terrill spent in Afghanistan with the late Tom Curry. If you can get your hands on a copy well worth a read!.

I was in 825 troop way back in Feb 02, came out because of a bad knee and some family issues, now going to go back in at the ripe old age of 29!
Fitness is not the key, its all in the mind, but saying that I did fly round a 10mile race sunday in 58.40!. :D

I wouldn't worry to much about your age, Im now 28 and start my recruit training in a couple of months, there are plenty of pros and cons about when you start training whatever your age is, after I finished my prmc I had made my mind up about what I wanted to do with my life, and Im going to do it!!...

Hi Chris, my top advice is to go and join a running club!, I done a PRMC back in Dec 2001 and I was fairly fit then, to cut a very long story short I have just been on another PRMC (Feb 14), and past again with scores of Level 13 on the bleep test, 3.40 on a very wet assualt course I also done my PJ...
