Im am in the RMR and just got my parade boots a couple of days ago. A few of the guys at my unit reckon I should be painting them as they need to be ready for armed forces day and with only a week they think I won't have enough time to get them polished properly.

Im 22 at the moment, birthday in June. Aib is supposed to be March 4th but I think I will have to change it because of work.

I thought you meant the ginger lad from my troop sorry. Yeah the guy you're talking about is supposed to be Feb 4th as well but he said he was going to try to change it to a later date.

I would go with the promotion if I were you as puting the RMR first would be a bit like letting a hobby get in the way of your work although I know it's not quite the same.

I would not worry about what to wear to the test mate, it is just a test, I just wore fairly smart civvie clothing. Save your suit or shirt and tie for the interview where appearance counts for something.
