It's all pretty manic down here sure you've heard it a million times but it's slow days quick weeks!
I'm pretty lucky and everyone in the troop really gets on and generally morale's high! Our training team's really good too and are really up for teaching us rather than thrashing us ...

I'm now in week 13 of training and now have more access to the internet so thought I'd check in and say hi!

Yeah get down your local library and get some books that's what I did.
Also you don't get more points the harder question....so crash out the easy ones first and tackle the harder ones later if you get time

As for differences between them...very little nowadays just the locations!

I dont really know why. Someone said that your PJFT time gives you higher priority on the PRMC? That true?


Don't think so? It's pretty much a pass/fail test.
The only thing that'll help you at PRMC are your aptitude test scores, the higher you get the lower level on the bleep test you need to ...

I started mine at 16.5 and kept putting it up until I was doing 20 at the end and I still only got 8.55, so you must have been going faster to get your time.

Running machines are pretty odd depending on what one you use. The one at Woking where I did mine only went up to a setting of 15 to memory ...

about taking kit. i got given a recruit handbook and it says if you take any additional thing from what its says they will be taken off you? what should i do then??????

Well I haven't had anything taken off me or anything checked! Unless you're thinking of taking replica handguns, knives etc or ...

Yeah don't get them polished to shine as you'll get another pair when you arrive so the ones you got on your prmc will become your field boots (which can't be shiney) and your new ones will be your training boots (for marching around camp etc).

I'm pretty sure it's ok but as with all your personal kit it's only ok if you use it where you're supposed to ie foundation block and during certain times.
I know that's the case with mobile phone's and Ipod's etc so I'm assuming it's the same!

I shouldn't worry about it mate. You've got 32 weeks of training and preperation to go through before anything will be expected of you, and by that time the training will just kick in!

Was wondering if anyone knew when CTCRM shuts down for the summer, christmas and easter breaks?
I know the summer one's in August sometime...anyone know the dates?
