I haven't got access to a scanner Tartan_Terrier but in in my recruit handbook page 2 (preparation before arriving at CTCRM) it says in the first three weeks of training I will receive instructions on how to maintain kit and in order to do this I will need several items.

I start RT on the 19th of November and in the recruit booklet it says to take a bucket, but my AFCO said don't take one because I'll look like a numpty arriving with one. What did you lads who have already been down there do? Shall I bother taking one? Cheers

Great effort Brows. Just goes to show that it is possible to pass POC with out going to university etc. I bet you loved black tuesday haha. I still have a few cuts and scabs from mine 3 weeks ago. Best of luck at the AIB.

well what they said was that if i had passed the whole of POC and gone on to the AIB and failed then i could have gone straight in to RT, but because i didn't i have to go on a PRMC, im confident of passing though because i completed the phys in POC. What made you think the officer side of things wasn't your bag?
I just thought that the pressure would have been to much for me at my age, they did give me chance to go back and try agen within a year but i felt there wasn't much i could improve on. i feel that i would much rather just be one of ...

POC 21st may

Hi all, im James. I've been floating about the site for a while now.
I have my POC on monday. Just thought i would see if anyone has any last minute tips (more POC orientated). I shall report back next week some time with how i got on.

seeing my fitness levels improve keeps me motivated, i'll go for a run or do so many set of however many press ups then say to myself, im going to beat that score this time next week!! I also feel that the fitter you become the more motivation you have to get up and do things.
