Does anyone know about the specific yhings you have to do whilst in the basic training??

Ive heard theres a lot of running and theres tasks such as carrying people on stretchers on runs or carrying a log between 4 of you.

Does anyone else know anything else?

I am thinking about bein a loadie to or possibly a weapons system officer, due to not being able to be a pilot.

Im going to go to the AFCO and talk to someone because i especially want to fly on the chinook!

Does anyone know of any good jobs which could mean i fly on the hinook?

I know one of them recruits from that D-DAY the Raw recruits.

That really tall one Neil 'lurch' Mackay used to be the year above me in school. Im still in year 11 but he's left now.

And to goreD i am not to sure what my exact eyesite is in comparison to the +'s and the -'s. I am slightly short sighted, not that bad though i only have to wear glasses for watchin TV or far away work.

Also is there a it of give on your eyesight? Like can you be slightly long or short sighted at all or does it have to be dead on perfect vision?

yeh i can put a sentence together i was just using text talk because its easier and qwuicker. I wont anymore.

And to whoever said "what happens if your glasses get knocked off"!
After training if a pilots eyesight gets worse and he or she requires glasses they are allowed to wear them, so what ...

So is anyone here actually an RAF helicopter pilot?

And Seven I did think about being a civi pilot but its so expensive to get a private or commercial license and i dont think it offers such a reward as flying in the services does.
