Just me - why not have a quick look on amazon. Sniper One - a sniper platoon in PWRR, in Iraq (probably the best if you're looking for accounts of action).

To second what AJ said, 3 para and sniper one are definitely books you should go for. Sniper One I thought was amazing, the sort of book you don't want to end but at the same time fly through it.
Another one to look out for is "One Bullet Away" by Nathaniel Fick, a very good read about a USMC ...
