I have been doing 3mile runs with 21lbs of webbing (in boots and smock etc). I crack that in about 27:30 (I need to crack it with 31lbs in under 30mins so I'm on track.

I just need to be advised as to what to do in a regular weekly or monthly routine?

I am six months into training, but failed the 4mile speed march on confirmation. I have always had trouble with speed marches. I have 6 months to get fit enough for the next phase one ...

We did it!!

We managed to do it faster then we thought, but we were hanging out of our asses, for the whole 8 days out there we had the shits.

Living off:

Local Water
Local bread
Local cheese
Immodium pills
Oranges
some army rations from the attic

Someone who passes out with RMR as a royal marine, and earns the Green Beret, can be transferred into the regs. I have heard it from a few in RMR and from Corporals etc, can anyone verify this?

I have heard from people who have been in the regs for 20 years+ then working with RMR, that there is no difference between the two.

I have heard a few regs beleiving the reserves "dont deserve the Green Beret", and even on passout are not as "good" as ...

No its not de sab'les, i dont think there is an official set up of this challenge, we just thought of doing it, and went for it. We are following Hannibals route over the Alps next winter.
