ask any sgt who has had to go and work as a PSI at one of the RMR units what he thought about the reserves before compared to what they did after there 'sentancing' .

you obviously are happy beeing a civvie, but you would like to have a go at being a member of one of britains elite fighting forces... why not give it a go as i have in the Royal marines reserves.
it takes over a year to be able to attempt the commando course that means spending a year ...

Im a royal Reservist, and have to train for speed marches in my own time. what i have now managed to achive is to run 9 and 1/2 miles in the time it takes to do a normal nine miler. i run in trainers with a back pack weighing around 30lbs.

Royal Can put himself forward for parachutist trainning, its up to the individual i belive, its the same as if a bootneck wants to join SAS. however i also belive that it is easier for a royal marines resevist to get on a parachuting than it is for his regular counter-part
